SF Beer Week: Yeast Affection

We have yeast affection! We’ve teamed up with the zymurlogical wizards at The Yeast Bay to celebrate these often overlooked organisms and their role in turning sugar water into beer. Try unique beers fermented with a variety of different yeasts and bacteria, including:

Belgian Golden Strong Ale - fermented with a blend of brettanomyces by The Yeast Bay

Belgian-style Dubbel - fermented two ways: half with a Belgian yeast blend, half with a sour culture to highlight the impact of fermentation on beer flavor

Sahti - a Finnish-style celebration beer aged in gin barrels, brewed with juniper boughs and cedar berries
