Summer means festival season, which means it’s time for jockey box maintenance and training. And beer drinking. Strictly educational, of course.
Sun’s out and we’re sipping Calafia for happy hour. This session IPA is brewed with malt from @admiralmaltings in Alameda and hopped with Chinook for a piney, slightly bitter but super drinkable brew.

New fermenter (left) and bright tank (right) are installed and ready for action. The fermenter’s already full of beer and strawberries that will eventually become this year’s batch of Strawberry Rhubarb Sour, and before long we’ll have Sweet Henrietta in the bright tank. Hope you’re all ready for some beer.

One of our favorite barrel-aged fruit brews is making a comeback tomorrow, just in time for this month’s Saturday Social. This year’s batch of Apricot Golden is super fruity, dry, and a touch oaky thanks to the months it spent in wine barrels. Find it in our tasting room both on tap and in bottles starting Saturday, 5/12.
