Our opening band, Pacific Drive, is younger than most bands that grace our tasting room (ages range between 16-21), yet their talent is way beyond their years. They all have years of experience playing in various bands such as The Dim Lights, Windy Hill, and the Mighty Chiplings, and have been playing together as friends since their early teens. We are lucky enough to swoop up these future stars before they hit it big at the CBA Father's Day Festival this summer.
At 4:30, we'll welcome traditional bluegrass band High Country whom, in contrast, have been in the California bluegrass scene for 40 years. Strongly influenced by the classics of Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, and the Stanley Brothers, these skillful musicians will make the oldies feel new again. High Country is a full 6 piece band of banjo, mandolin, fiddle, dobro, guitar, and bass, perfectly in tune with one another and performing with energy and excitement.
At Cleophus Quealy, we love supporting our local bluegrass scene and providing our community with the freshest, small-batch and seasonal beers. To pair with our 8 taps of draft brews, Canasta Kitchen food truck will be at the tasting room with an extensive menu of Mexican classics.
